Announcing the Opening of Barton Law

Jillian E. Barton, Esq. is pleased to announce the opening of her firm, Barton Law, LLC. Barton Law will focus exclusively in the areas of estate administration (probate) and estate and trust planning, and will proudly be accepting new clients beginning on February 8, 2021.

When working with clients after the loss of a loved one, Jillian provides support, guidance and peace of mind through the often intimidating probate and estate administration process. Grief comes in all forms and Jillian never forgets that her clients are people with unique values and emotions. When working with estate planning clients, Jillian works to understand each client's individual goals and collaborate with clients to create an estate plan that is tailored specifically to his or her own needs. She passionately advocates for estate planning for individuals of all ages (18+) as many mistakenly think estate planning is an "elder law" issue.

Upon deciding to pursue her law degree at Villanova Law, Jillian knew early on that she would commit her practice to serving clients in these practice areas and she focused her internships, volunteer experiences and clinical work in these same areas during law school. Prior to founding Barton Law, Jillian worked for over four years with Schneider, Nixon and John, a well-respected firm in Hatboro, where she received tremendous mentorship and experience, and served clients exclusively in these same areas. Compassion, professionalism and in-depth knowledge are among the few reasons clients choose to work with Jillian.

Quickly after working in Hatboro, she fell in love with the Hatboro-Horsham community, a community of people and businesses committed to supporting one another. Being a native to the area (a Lower Moreland High School graduate) and now a Horsham resident, she devotes her free time to serving the Hatboro-Horsham and surrounding communities through her involvement in the Hatboro Rotary Club and other local organizations. She is also an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention, and supporting parents that have lost their children to suicide and other tragedies.

Barton Law will strive to implement eco-friendly practices by reducing paper use and staying up-to-date on new technologies that help to reduce the firm's footprint. In addition, Jillian has vowed to plant a tree in memory of each of her clients' loved ones to honor their memories and help restore our national forests.

Jillian is excited to officially announce the opening of Barton Law and looks forward to working with you.
